Yesterday was my 10th birthday and it was an action packed day! We were up REALLY early and went for a big walk. Then Jessy and I had scrambled eggs for breakfast. After that we had a little nap to power up for the rest of the day.
After a good play we headed out to a park for another big walk.
Then it was off to pick up my birthday cake! The humans wanted to bake one for me but with Jessy here, there wasn’t any extra time so we went to Three Dog Bakery in Sherman Oaks to pick one up. First we did some browsing of all the goodies.
They gave us some samples of their new treats. I even got to lick dog icing off the spoon! I love this place!
We got the cake home (I also got some other goodies too…mmmm!) and checked it out. Look they even put my name on it.
My friends from the neighborhood came over to help me eat my cake. Here’s Chesa, Jessy and me all waiting for cake. It’s the Golden Retriever cake line!
Everyone was very excited to get a piece of cake. It smelled very tasty!

After another walk, some grilled chicken for dinner and a lot more playing, Jessy and I were worn out! Jessy is funny because she just sleeps in the craziest positions.
It was a really GReat birthday!

Wow Spencer!!! You had a GREAT birthday!!! Your cake looked so good that I barked and barked till my mom came in and saw it. She thought it was wonderful too.
