The first day of spring came and it feels like summer here in Los Angeles. We have 2 seasons here in LA…hot and hotter. It was 85 degrees today so I thought I’d get my shades ready before heading out for a walk.
I decided to wear them like a movie producer….too bad I can’t wear flip-flops too for the whole effect, BOL! Hey…I think we need more cookies in catering!!! I need more cookies!!!
Despite my allergies I love to lounge around on the lawn and look at the flowers.

Gee Spencer, sorry about those allergies; must be tough in LA. I take two Benadryl in the morning and again in the evening year round. I also pop an arthritis tablet twice a day; it sucks to grow old…..you’re only about a year behind me so take it easy. How’s Chloe doing. Jubal was all excited about seeing her on your blog. Jubal fancies himself as a ladies man. Better off for her that there a whole country between her and him; just one stray tennis path across their path and Jubal would be gone; no self control that guy.
By the way, I used to live in a shelter, actually a couple of shelters. I was rescued by http://www.almostheaven-golden-retriever-rescue.org and then I got to move to this great house by Lake Anna with a 7 other dogs and 3 cats. Abby and Gordon also came from AHGRR. Gordon was totally blind and had been dumped in Atlanta when he was 7 years old because he couldn’t see. He was bounced up to AHGRR and then my new mom & dad adopted him and he came to live with them. I only came last November and Gordie died this January so I didn’t know him too long, but he was a swell guy. He was a sage of wisdom. Ity was amazing how well he got along, right up ’til the end, even though he was blind. We all miss him, it was like losing Grandpa.
