Some Golden Goodness

Whew, it’s been a long time since I’ve posted. I hope everyoe is keeping happy & healthy! We took a little time off, did some traveling and a lot of working, so now it’s back to the daily routine for a bit.

This summer I was happy to donate photography services for this year’s Golden Retriever Club of Greater Los Angeles Rescue‘s 2013 calendar featured GRCGLA rescued dogs. S graciously helped out with his amazing Photoshop skills, in helping get the whole thing put together and Ta Da!…it’s back from the printers and ready to add some Golden sunshine to walls in the new year.

You can order yours here (US shipping only). All proceeds help rescued Golden Retrievers in Southern California.

  1. I am looking forward to seeing the calendar. I have always loved your photography…especially of goldens.
Btw….Valerie, my golden (Maddie) is also enrolled in the Morris Foundation Golden Retriever Lifetime Study. She is the same age as your Astro :) Maddie and I consider it an honor to be be able to help with this amazing study.

    • Thanks Deborah…I enjoy taking photos of Goldens too:) That’s cool that Maddie’s in the Morris study, sure hope they find a cure someday. Big hugs to MAddie & Lily from us.

    • Deborah, How great that you and Maddie are participating in the study as well. Astro says Hello to his new friend Maddie and wishes the two of them could meet for a play date! Would love to hear more about your Girl – the study has a Facebook page and we have posted some of Astro’s pictures there.

  2. Have missed you all so very much. I have lost dogs to cancer as well, hate that disease. I don’t know if I shared but our Golden puppy Astro was one of the original 50 in the Morris Animal Foundation’s Lifetime Study of Goldens to hopefully prevent cancer. He was born June 16, 2011 and is now a proper TEENAGER! Thank you for all you do and I love the calendar!

    • Thanks Valerie, that’s wonderful Astro is helping with the Morris study, hopefully one day there will be a cure for this dreaded disease for pups and peeps alike. Hugs to Astro!
