Return of the Sun

16 Oct

Kona (9)

The sun was back in full force here in Los Angeles today with highs in the low 80′s.  After work, Kona and I decided to get some vitamin D and hang out in the yard. He figured helping with gardening meant he had to be IN the garden.

After some garden maintenance, we goofed around taking some photos. Kona is always a wiling model.

We played with the macro lens and flowers…except I had to work fast because there was a nose in the next shot.

After all that and a big walk, there was a little time for a nap in the grass before sundown.

Kona, you are a most excellent gardener. Half the beauty of those projects is taking a moment to appreciate your creations!

    Hey M, S, and kona,
After seeing that picture can we call Kona “tail end charlie?” Where better to do gardening than in the garden, duh! We’re glad your sun is back but it would be nice if you’d share it with us cuz we haven’t seen it in a while.

Kona is indeed a very nice looking dog. He seems to be adjusting nicely to his new , secure and consistent lifestyle. Funny how that works, eh?

    cheers.

Hi, we came over from Khyra’s blog. This is a nice blog.
Mom said you are doing a wonderful job by fostering. She thinks it’s a tough job having to say goodbye when the dog finds a furever home. She said she would be a foster failure and keep everyone of them.

    Kona-
You garden just like me and the fellas. We figure we sit in the middle of it all and make sure the peeps don’t need a paw.
Should be a great weekend in S.Cal – enjoy it.

You mean you are not supposed to garden by laying in it?

Kona is such a cute boy.
