Fosters Sydney & Bella-Day 4

Today Sydney and Bella made the journey up to Homeward Bound, where we’re sure they will soon sweep a new forever family off their feet. We had a lot of fun with these two and wish them all the best in their new lives.

The girls enjoyed their last night cuddled up on their beds, in between the sofa and coffee table, next to the fireplace. They were pretty adorable.

Sydney and Bella are looking for a family to lavish love on them, which they will return ten fold. If you have a big place in your heart and family for these special girls, please contact Homeward Bound.

Fosters Sydney & Bella-Day 3

An action packed day with work didn’t leave much time for photos today but I really liked this one of the girls watching some neighborhood action I grabbed with my phone.

The living room is Sydney & Bella’s favorite room in the house. All our dogs love this room. My theory is it’s because of the windows.

Fosters Sydney & Bella-Day 2

Sydney & Bella had an awesome day today. After salmon for breakfast, Bella got a walk while Sydney played at home. (She is waiting for surgery for an ACL injury, so is on restricted exercise.Sydney will get her surgery as soon as she arrives at Homeward Bound this week.) Bella was very lovely to a little boy on our walk who asked his mom “Can we take her home?”.

Back at home, the girls had an epic game of bitey face and then bitey tennis ball face.

These two sweet girls have an evil side they cleverly disguise… they are serial stuffie killers!  It started with Bella dissecting Mr. Bee. Then Sydney, who must have been ready for the superbowl, deflated the football. The carnage continued with a beheaded turtle, a fox got his legs amputated and a deer barely survived with minor injures. All squeakers in the victims were completely de-squeaked. I present the aftermath (Mr Bee and Mr Fox met their demise in the yard)…

The rest of the day was spent gardening or should I say gardening watching…

And chomping tennis balls….

A roast chicken dinner sent the girls into a tizzy and they are now snoring happily in front of the fireplace.

Goodbyes & Hellos

Early this morning, was a sad time as Larry left us, on his trip up to Homeward Bound and to his forever family. He is an awesome dog and we wish him much love on his new journey.

Immediately after Larry left, two Golden sisters showed up on our doorsteps looking for a place to lay their heads for a few days, until they too, make the journey to Homeward Bound.

First up for any of our foster dogs is a good bath…

All cleaned up, meet Sidney, a 5 year old Golden girl…

And her sister, Bella…

It took them a bit to get used to being in the house, but they soon settled in and were very interested in watching all the neighborhood action.

These two ladies are the biggest love bugs and velcro themselves to you for any ounce of attention. Perfect examples of true Golden temperament.
