We had a lazy weekend. I am mostly hanging out at home. It’s getting hot here in LA so I spend lots of time outside in the shade or inside in the air-conditioning. I like to lie under the lemon tree and look at the flowers. I hide some of my tennis balls in the flowers, just to have a secret stash. I like the big tall lilies, especially the yellow ones.
I don’t know what this purple flower is but it is very pretty to look at.
We have lots of California poppies in our yard. They are the state flower of California. I guess that’s why they’re called “California poppy”. BOL!

Hi Spencer! The yellow lily I think is an Oriental lily, and the purply one would be a marguerite daisy of some kind. Do you eat any flowers, and what do they taste like? :O}–touchy noseys
What beautiful pictures. :) I love California Poppies. But I’m so bad at keeping seeds alive. I tried to plant some in the cracks of my walk way, thinking they would be much nicer than the weeds there. But they didn’t grow. :(
