In the evening, after it cools down, I like to sit and listen. I hear the cats prowling, the flying beetles that look like little tanks, the new baby birds calling for their mom, the lonely frog somewhere in the neighborhood, the splashing of the fountain, a few crickets chirping and that crazy mockingbird once it gets dark. Once the mockingbird starts up it’s hard to hear anything else…that bird is very loud!

That’s a lovely photo of you too Spencer…. our dogs tend to listen out for pheasants then go haring our into the garden to bark, so could you teach them a thing or two about relaxing please?

Here, when I stay at my railing in the evenings I only hear cars and people talking pretty loud! Those are not nice sounds, right?
