As practically everyone knows by now, Southern California has had an awful lot of fires this past week. Luckily, I live in an area that isn’t a fire hazard but we are close enough to some of the fires to get a lot of the smoke. This week it’s been very smoky with a weird orange haze covering the sky.
My allergies have been very bad with all the smoke in the air so I am staying inside as much as possible. My favorite place to hang out is at the studio, right in the middle of all the action. It’s also very cool in there so it’s a good place to be when it’s hot.
There are a lot of people and animals that have been displaced from their homes because of the fires. My friend Robin from Art for Critters has painted an art card of me that is in their Ebay auction of original art cards to raise money to help the displaced animals in the California fires. If you’d like to help out a good cause you can bid on the cards. I am very honored to have been painted for this auction, I hope lots of people bid!

Hi Spencer.. oh gosh.. haze.. i hate haze.. here in Malaysia always encounter haze.. cause of our neighbour country had a yearly open fire.. this is so bad for both human n animals health..
