Horsing Around.

This weekend I went on an adventure in search of horses. I know you are thinking, “Spencer you live in Los Angeles! Where are the horses?!”, but there are a lot of horses in this city. There are areas that are designated for them so that humans can keep them at their house, with the proper stables of course. I went to the Rancho District which is a nice residential area right beside Griffith Park. There are lots of trails to go horseback riding on in the park. I got there early and kept out an eye for some horses.

This guy snuck up when I wasn’t looking but I could smell him.

He was a bit of a cowboy and his horse had a lot of energy. He  kicked  up a lot of dirt too….bluck.

This black stallion was much more refined as he went past.

The sky was very blue and these trees were staring to lose their leaves for fall.

They had  really interesting bark designs. I think they are part of the eucalyptus family.

There are some gophers in this park too. I sniffed out all their dens.

Then I sat in the shade and watched the horses go by. None of them paid much attention to me. It was a lovely fall day and the sun was shining  nicely.

After a small rest I explored some more. There were lots of interesting things to smell. I had a great time!

There is a horse here I see everyday but he does not pay attention to me!
