This is Sky, our newest foster. His real name is Skylar but we thought that was too Hollywood for a dog and call him Sky instead. He doesn’t seem to mind. Sky’s family turned him over to rescue and he’s not sure why, so he’s been very sad since he got here.
Candy is helping to bring him out of his shell. She tried to get him to play the first night and most of the next day but Sky wasn’t interested.
Finally, Candy enticed Sky to play. Now they run around the yard and play fight. Perfect exercise for a 2 and 3 year old.
It’s like clash of the Titans because Sky is a really big boy but Candy holds her own. She is very speedy so she can out run Sky.
Candy helped to make Sky happy and he’s starting to adjust to his new foster home. We’re going to give him a few days until we evaluate him because he’s just starting to show his personality.
Glad that Sky had a friend to help him settle in. He sure is a pretty boy!!

Oh wow Sky is such a handsome boy! It looks like him and Candy are having a ball playing together. I am so glad that she was there to make him feel welcome to your wonderful home. I love all the shots and especially the one of them touching so cute! You 2 sure have been busy with 2 I see….so much fun! Have a great Sunday evening.

It just us, TBH. Y’all are really ramping up the power out there in LA LA land. It’s great that Candy was there to help Sky shake of the IBD (I’ve Been Dumped) blues. We don’t know Homer ended up in a shelter. He was so polite and well mannered when we got him. It literally took us months to break him of all the good habits he had accumulated. You’ve got a couple of really special photos of the two fosters together that are just amazing. Keep us informed as to how things are going. We had a really beautiful day today, just like SOCAL but without the smog. We love youse guys and the pups too.
