  1. I am so grateful that Kona and you are ok.

I always either have my dogs in crates, or they are seatbelted into their seats. I learned a very sad lesson 24 years ago. My husbands and my very first golden was in the front seat of the car when hit by someone who ran a red light. Honey was thrown into the dashboard and died instantly. She was only four months old.

  2. Golly, I am glad you are all safe. We don’t get out with the goldens here so much since there
are two of them but we use harness or crate in the car too. Hope you all aren’t too achy and
that your car will be back up and running soon. I have to say Kona looks pretty good in that car.
If you get as far as Victorville we can see if 3 goldens fit.

    • Thanks Tiara. Glad you practice car safety. We see lots of little dogs in owner’s laps here and I worry what will happen to them in an accident. We thought it looked like some kind of spaceship for Kona:) I bet we could do 3 easy with no people:)

  3. We are glad to hear you are all okay! Hopefully, they get your car fixed without too much wait. …did you ever find out how many goldens you can fit in a bug?

  4. oh dear, wat happened??
anyhow it’s good news that no one is hurt and you’re right about transport safety!

oh btw, the bug, fit just ONE Kona golden and no one else :)
