16/52 : Kona – Crooked Smile

Kona, golden retriever

Nikon D60 : 90mm : shutter 1/80: aperture f /8 : ISO 400 : 2 x 20″ softbox

Kona shows off his beautifully crooked smile…I joke with the kids in pediatrics on our hospital therapy rounds that he really needed braces when he was a puppy. Almost every time they ask “Really?!” Guaranteed smiles every time :)

And an out-take from our session…

Nikon D60 : 90mm : shutter 1/25: aperture f /8 : ISO 400 : 2 x 20″ softbox

I call this his happy tongue, I think lots of dogs do this when they’re playful. Kona is such a good sport putting up with me snapping away all the time and this was a double whammy because it involved really bright lights too. Of course there’s always lots of cookies to make it a pleasant experience:)
