An impromptu hike in the Santa Monica Mountains seemed the perfect way to end a busy day. Sunset was less than spectacular but it was fun to get out and get some fresh air, even if it meant picking burs out of Kona’s tail later that evening.

We had the most beautiful weather here last night, and went for a walk as well. Welcome spring/ summer, huh?
Spring always feels great after a long winter (not that we have bad winters here but I’ve experienced my share of cold, snowy winters:)
