An Overnight Guest

The house has been painfully quiet and far too clean (who knew I would miss fur tumbleweeds rolling across the floor, every time a door opened or closed?) without Kona so it was decided…we would foster again to liven things up.

And like that, this little miss showed up for a sleepover and ready to rock.

At a year old, she hasn’t feathered out yet and is full of energy so there I was trying to wear out our young visitor. A good chomp kept her busy for at least an hour…while she made herself right at home on the sofa.

Then a great play, followed up by a huge walk and voila…mission accomplished, one pooped out pup…

Nothing like some puppy paws to brighten up your day:)

On a side note for my photo friends…I recently splurged and picked up the new Nikon 50mm f/1.8G lens. Super affordable, tack sharp and great bokeh make it an easy add to any Nikon camera bag.

  1. What a sweet girl, and I see she has already moved on. A day/evening of fun and joy, then relax till the next time. You two are great for fostering and helping so many dogs in the system!
And like you, we also know what it means to be a foster failure once in a while.

  2. So glad you have a foster again, a house is just way to quite if you have lived with Goldens (or any dog for that matter) all of your life and they are not there.
Does the beautiful little girl have a name?

  3. Oh, look at those shining eyes! Lucky Little Miss, to have such a loving sleepover. And, indeed, who knew we could so miss the fur tumbleweeds?
