Meet Larry, a flat coat retriever. Sprung from jail, Larry is now livin’ large and taking advantage of not being cooped up in a cell. As you can see he is pretty happy about his new freedom.

First thing on his agenda: get clean. A guy gets mighty smelly in jail, so after a bath, Larry felt a lot better. He was the perfect gentleman during his bath and later enjoyed getting brushed, which is good because he has a lot of matting for us to get out.

Larry has beautiful brown eyes and is a very smart guy. He seems to know the basic commands and would love someone to practice them with. Larry also enjoys playing with stuffies and belly rubs.

We’ll be sure to find out lots more about this lovely boy as he stays with us this week. Larry will be catching a ride up to the Homeward Bound Sanctuary, anyone interested in adopting this beauty should contact them for more information.
