Pinup Pups-Part 3

Continuing with photographs for the Golden Retriever Club of Greater Los Angeles Rescue‘s 2013 calendar. The calendar features rescue success stories and helps fund new rescues in finding their furever homes.

Meet Pang Pang, another rescue who found her way to America from Taiwan. This happy girl now spreads Golden smiles as a therapy dog.

I thought these photos captured her sunny disposition.

    • Thanks Sam. The dogs come from Taiwan after they are rescued from the streets. People buy them as puppies and when they get too big, they get tired of caring for them or they are finished using them for breeding, they let the dogs go on the streets. More than 80,000 dogs are euthanized in Taiwan every year. Rescue groups there, co-ordinate with rescue groups here to find the bigger dogs homes in America, as it is harder to place the larger breeds in Taiwan due to living spaces being smaller.
