I have to have a bath every time I go to the hospital for pet therapy…no stinky dogs allowed! I even have a little doggy breathe mint when I get there just for extra freshness. I have to admit, I am not really fond of baths. Oh, I tolerate the humans drenching me with water and making me smell like lavender but I’d rather be stinky…dogs love to be stinky! Now that the very hot summer weather is here, the baths don’t seem all that bad. It’s a nice way to cool down on a hot day. I still try to roll in the grass as soon as we’re done which makes the humans say “Spencer, nooooo!”. The best part of the whole bath thing is getting the towel rub down…I love that. It’s like having your own personal masseuse. A little to the left please! Maybe a dog could learn to love this after all.

oh Spenc…this is so me…the rub down is the best…I have to admit, I love baths..everytime mom turns the water on in the bathtub..I come running…well, not so much running, anymore…but don’t forget, mom has been giving me baths for a very long time now, and I know I get some treats afterwards for being “such a good boy”.. and in the winter, I get the blowdryer special..bol..brush, blow, brush, blow..until I’m all super dry…I even bark at mom when she blow dries her hair in the morning….hey..what about me..?? and she stops and brushes my head and gives me a quick puff of air.. it’s a dawwwgs life!!
LOL my dogs hate baths, too. Chase even hates baby pools, but he will go swimming in a lake. I don’t get the logic but I’m sure there’s there somewhere! It’s nice to live in the dry desert, my dogs dry off pretty fast after a bath.

Ooh I love baths. I’m not yet used to keeping still while taking a bath though..hehe..but I do love water so much. Sometimes I also like to just lie down and just let them shampoo and massage me all over. Tee hee. But it’s just a matter of time till i get myself stinky again! You’re right. Dogs love to be stinky! :D Woof!
