We took advantage of the quiet long weekend to take Titus hiking in Griffith Park and burn off some puppy energy. Besides, a hike in the hills beats a workout at the gym any day…and it’s a lot less smelly. With the recent hot weather, the vegetation is starting to dry out. Fire season isn’t far away. The grasses were the same color as Titus, making for some great camouflage.
He enjoyed the eagle eye view of the park below.
We found out shortly after this, all that grass sticks like crazy to dog fur! Best to keep on the path when this stuff is around.
After spending an hour picking the sticky grass out of his fur, we gave Titus a bath. He was very well behaved for his bath and then decided to take a nap on the sofa. I think he’s staring to feel a little more relaxed here…

A full and fun day with you all I see. The colors in the first few shots are amazing. I love his coat color and against the landscape really makes the pics pop. So sweet him sleeping at the end of a fun filled day….

I couldn’t say it any better than paco and milo. We are so grateful for all that you do. We know how tired you were after the hike ..and then picking out the burs…and then bathing a big golden. And then seeing how completely contented he was sleeping. Such great love.
He looks rather content after such a full day! And Griffith park looks like a lot more fun than the gym for sure :)

Oh wow, what a great place to hike!!! Wish we had somewhere like that around here. Titus looks super comfy, I love sleeping like that, keeps the belly cool, BOL!!!
