A Fall Weekend.

It finally feels like fall here in Los Angeles after some crazy hot weather. The humans and I took advantage of the cooler weather to go walking through some parks. We started with Johnny Carson Park in Burbank. It’s right across from NBC studios and named for the famous Tonight Show host. It has a little creek and lots of trees and even some hills. Everything was looking nice and green after a sprinkle of rain.

I was very excited to go exploring. I came to this park a long time ago so there were a lot of new scents for me to smell.

I sat up on one of the hills to scout for squirrel activity. There weren’t too many out today maybe they don’t like the rain. I don’t mind a rain shower and it makes me very fluffy and soft later. I did find one squirrel later on and chased him up a tree.

My human dad and I ran over the hills. It was a lot of fun.My acupuncture treatments have been making me feel a lot better so I can run again…it feels good!

My human mom and I scouted out the park from one of the bridges. There was a birthday party going on further up the path. Hey, save me some birthday cake, BOL!

The bridge was a good place to check out the creek. I had a good time and went home to have a great dinner of chicken breast cooked with a little white wine and lemon…mmmm, tasty! It was a very good day.

  1. I bet you had a good time at the park I can see that. That is a beautiful park! I took my dog to a park on Sunday and he was so happy that he didn’t wanted to come back. He was also wearing a sweater which I bought him from Pet Supplies

  4. I love reading about your adventures Spencer! Bark on!!! Parks and squirrels are just the best….. my tail just starts wagging whenever I think about it.

  5. Yo Spencer!
We think you should re-name this park : “Spencer’s Squirrel Park!”
That’s a whole lot more interesting than calling after some man from TV. EVERYONE would want to go to Spencer’s Squirrel Park, wouldnt they?
    BOL :))

  6. Hi Spencer!

Boy it sounds like you sure had a wonderful day! We love going to parks and we too get fuzzy and fluffy after a little rain shower. I think all us handsome Goldens get like that.

It sounds like you eat better dinners than we do. We are going to have to find a way to convince our human that we too should be eating chicken sauteed in wine sauce. BOL! Thanks for the suggestion.

We are so glad to see you running around again and we’re also so glad that you’re acupuncture is working. Do you think that works on arthiritis because recently we both have taken a turn for the worse with the arthritis in our legs. Its gotten us down pretty bad since the temperature changed here. Maybe you could let us know?

    Thanks Spencer. Wags and kisses,

    Benson and Gibson
