Foster Kobe-Day 28

Tomorrow is our one month anniversary fostering Kobe and he is planning on celebrating with some of Titus’ tiny turkey meatballs! Kobe adores all and any food and has become especially enamored of strawberries, after he discovered them in the garden. There is now a “one for you and one for me” rule anytime strawberries are plucked.

 “Let’s go pluck some strawberries!”…

Kobe is a happy and very loving boy, who wants nothing more to be with people. If those people are inside, he likes that even better. We’re working with Kobe to help him overcome his agoraphobia by taking small steps to introduce him to the great outdoors. He will sit, in the yard, with us in the evening and watch all the birds prepare for the night, but Kobe is hesitant to leave the yard, even with much encouragement.

“I’m good here, go on without me.”

Kobe needs a home where someone is home most of the time and willing to shower him with the affection he craves as well as work with him to overcome his fears of wide open spaces. In return, Kobe will be your adoring, faithful companion.

If you live in the greater Los Angeles area and think you might be the perfect fit for Kobe or another Golden in need, please contact The Golden Retriever Club of Greater Los Angeles Rescue.

  1. I bet he is afraid to be lost again. He is such a sweet boy – I’d love to take him but I think Monty would be overpowering for him.

    • You’re probably right Sam, and who can blame him. Kobe will find the right fitting home, sometimes it takes a little longer but we know it’s always worth the wait:)
